Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

To me it’s a beloved tune that I’ve sung in choruses, quartets, and taken the solo lead on. But I won’t stand up or doff my baseball cap when it’s sung. We’ve got one national anthem and that’s enough. We don’t need anymore signifiers of fealty or love of country. We’re loyal. We get it.
Hey, you idiotic propagandists at the New York Post:

God Bless America isn't the national anthem. It's a SHOW TUNE written by Irving Berlin.

Essential read. Why boycotting Disney is the exact opposite of what needs to happen right now.
So, for everyone who saw my flurry of Sinclair-related activity last night, I'd like to explain why.

we predict cleveland’s browns will have great movement, be well managed, and finish much better than they started.

as for the football team we are less certain.
Prediction for the Browns this season?

Pisses me off that we’re stardust with the gift of conscious existence and having to spend our time on all this bullshit.

As a frequent visitor to Edgewater Park, this is great news.
Our lab-mix Luke treasures the dog beach there as his happy place. He loves to dive for sticks into Lake Erie. And with the progress being made on the overload system, the alerts are getting rarer and rarer. Happy Luke!
Exciting update:

We post daily water quality predictions for two local beaches all summer long to help beachgoers know what to expect. Until now, these automated updates were only available on our website and X.

Starting this weekend, they'll automatically post to Bluesky.
TESTING NEW ALERTS // COMING SOON!

Managed & automated by @neorsd.org, this account will post the water quality predictions for Cleveland's Villa Angela and Edgewater beaches at 9:15 a.m. daily all summer long.

still no NFL Draft experts have asked us what position we think Cleveland should take with number 2 next week. which is too bad. because i think “sitting down” would be a funny reply.

this is weirdly beautiful
fandom is infrastructure.

it runs deep. it’s tough to understand sometimes. it holds you up. it brings people together.

in seasons good and bad, it’s there. our awareness is heightened at times, but it’s just part of our lives.

and it endures.

go @cleguardians.com.

go cleveland.
