Just putting this out into the world, but when they try another Power Rangers movie; Kathryn Hahn would slay as Rita Repulsa.

The fact that Poker Face removed one of its story engines at the start of this season makes me really curious about where the rest of the season is gonna go.

I’ve been noticing a lot of similarities between Doctor Who and Kamen Rider lately, but I think Doctor Who could be improved by having an episode between Doctors where they both get to have an adventure together before the torch is passed.

I find it really disappointing just how pessimistic modern Shonen series have become. Is One Piece the only series left where the main cast smiles on a regular basis?

I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for a season of Taskmaster to start.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

there is such a pathological fear among dem electeds of backlash that it leads them to basically do nothing
As the unofficial Dem strategy explainer on here I can't really tell you why Jeffries had such a wimpy response to the Eric Adams quid pro quo. At some point this just becomes a timid resistance to doing anything.

"The mayor didn't go public with this because he knows it's in defiance of the existing law. To have a mayor do that, is really scary."

Dozens of local elected officials, healthcare workers, and immigrant groups rallied on Sunday against a new ICE guidance memo.

This happened to me in Trump 1.0 when I called in and the dude said, “wow lots of calls about this issue today!” and I asked how many is a lot and he said “Seventeen!”

Motivates me to pick up the phone every time.
Found out that TWENTY emails is considered a lot to politicians on an issue.

TWENTY.

As in, they call that getting slammed.

So next time you see a request to email your rep, or call, keep that in mind.

TWENTY is a lot.

Kash Patel's confirmation hearing began today. His lack of experience and extreme loyalty to Trump make him unfit to lead the nation’s top law enforcement agency.

But support for Patel from right-wing sheriffs is especially concerning, says @jesspish.bsky.social.
