Mint-flavored mint vapes make kids think vapes are for them.

Blue Rasperry Exteme Minecraft Cotton Candy lets them know that vapes are purely an adult thing.

So, the Cowboys required a good DT be included in any Parsons' deal, and the Cowboys DC - who was literally in charge of developing MULTIPLE young DTs in Chicago - didnt think the Bears had one.

I could write a thesis on the differences...

Reinsdorf has admittedly chosen profit margin over on-field success. He has literally said that his primary responsibility is to the shareholders. You might say that Rickett's "biblical losses" is comparable. It isn't.
Reinsdorf has long decided to build mid-80 win teams banking on optimism and viewed that as a sustainable business model. Tell me how that's different from what Tom is doing

The first thing I did when I became the Barons media relations director in 2009 was to check the schedule and see when the Smokies were coming to town because it meant I'd get to interact with Ryne Sandberg for five days.

Once every player is connected to every team, the trades can begin. And not a moment sooner.

Times have likely changed, but I'll just say that the information gathering for some of these major publications was pretty spotty back in the day. It was never first-hand scouting. It came from milb coaches, scouts with bias (and reason for lying) and even broadcasters who were just excited to talk
Not saying the Dodgers are doing this, but is it possible for a team to pay scouts, like, ten thousand to push a prospect up their ranks so other teams think the prospect is better than he is?

This Cubs team just reminds me of the 2003 Braves. Great hitting. Better than average pitching from unlikely sources. No long winning streaks. Just continually strung together wins and prevented any long losing streaks all year.

They also got knocked out in the WC round.

So ...

Cubs get
Durant
Castro

Twins get
Ballesteros
Wicks

Who says no?

Just for funsies - as I love the Cubs and absolutely loathe the Orioles entire fucking organization from the top down - here are some key reasons why the Cubs rebuild ended with a World Series while the Orioles rebuild has been an abject failure.

My old broadcasting colleague called his 4th MLB All Star Game last night. My old sketch comedy writing partner was on Colbert. And my streak on the LinkedIn game Queens reached 176.

Dont ever let other people tell you what you're capable of!

Stop trying to blame all your problems on that one thing I did.

Some of your problems are because of that other thing I did.
It’s remarkable how often the Republican Party sounds like every crappy boyfriend you’ve ever had explain to you that you simply misunderstood his bad behavior to be his fault and not yours.

Epstein died while Trump was President.

The Justice Department declared he died by suicide while Trump was President.

The Justice Department declared there was no Epstein list while Trump was President.

Why are the Dems so hell-bent on protecting Epstein's clients?

Happy NBA Draft Day, Bulls fans. Just a reminder that this shot cost us Cooper Flagg.

It's a minor thing. But the NBA needs to synch trade eligibility and the draft.

There's no reason the 10th pick of the draft needs to take photos wearing a Rockets hat when everyone knows he's going to Phoenix.

The NBA not playing on Father's Day is 100 times the miss that not painting the court was.

Gotta love June. Sun is shining. Birds are singing. Every team in baseball has double-digit wins.

All Cooper Flagg has to do is become a top-3 player, and he can join Luka in LA.

The Bulls have the worst fucking luck of any team in pretty much anything sport.

Tomorrow ends the first full month of baseball, and the Cubs have yet to give up a single run to a team under .500 ...
