A dialog box on the computer. The title is "rundll32.exe - This application could not be st" and the text is "This application could not be started. Do you want to view information about this issue?" This type of dialog normally has a Yes and a No button, but on this one, instead of the Yes button there is A Void.

Oh, someone got a cute new icon

Started playing Pseudoregalia and it's peak. I wasn't sure I'd like it since I'm not that into metroidvanias, but it's a great platformer. It really feels as good as everyone says. A real Mario 64-like. Also the perfect dream-like atmosphere for when you've still got a fever from Christmas covid.

You can see from the low resolution textures that they look like they're scaled with something like the N64's 3-point bilinear filter, which contributes to the 5th-gen aesthetic.

Shadow Generations was amazing. I love how it was respectful to an era of Sonic games that many said was too edgy and serious. The alternate paths and different ways to approach obstacles felt like the classic games, and it had heaps of open sections that felt like the best parts of Sonic Adventure.

The sun sets over Newcastle's Foreshore Park. A stage is set up in the middle of the circular hill, with a crowd of people around it. On the hillside are hundreds of kyacks. Later at night, purple stage lights illuminate a crowd of people as John Butler performs alone on a stage, holding an acoustic guitar Two performers move blue glowing whale puppets through the crowd. The stage can be seen behind them, and the lights of Fort Scratchley are visible in the distance.
