(1/3) If you haven't heard yet, I'm running for Louisville Metro Council. I'm running because I love Louisville, even though it's not perfect, even though we have big problems. Our leaders and our systems aren't living up to the trust that's been placed in them.
Louisville needs big changes to reverse economic and racial inequality. Louisville needs leaders ready to fight for the working class against budgets that prioritize tax deals for wealthy real estate developers over public transportation and basic infrastructure.

I was debating whether the smart thing to do as a Louisville fan is to root for Kentucky today but thankfully I've been relieved of this emotional burden

If *you* havent called McGarvey yet, his office number is (202) 225-5401. All you have to do is say, "Hi I'm calling to ask that Representative McGarvey sign on to the the Gaza Ceasefire Now Resolution and that he vote no on any additional military spending in Israel"
