I continue to be deeply disgusted with my reps @schiff.senate.gov @padilla.senate.gov @friedman.house.gov for the false equivalency they maintain in Israel’s war on Palestinians. This is not a war against Hamas. This is not defense. This is an ethnic cleansing of an entire people if not a genocide.

CALLS ARE WORKING - it has bought us precious time, but we NEED to keep the pressure up.

Tomorrow is the cloture vote.

KEEP CALLING: (202) 224-3121 ☎️☎️☎️

Tell your Dem Senator to vote NO on Cloture and NO on the Republican spending bill.

Do NOT assume your Senator will be good on this. Trust me.
🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

Found out that TWENTY emails is considered a lot to politicians on an issue.

TWENTY.

As in, they call that getting slammed.

So next time you see a request to email your rep, or call, keep that in mind.

TWENTY is a lot.

In the wake of the fires, LA production is hurting even more than before. People can’t afford to live here if there isn’t work here.

Jewel! No! This totally tracks but no!
Jewel was the surprise guest last night at the MAHA inaugural ball.

She sang “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” for Robert Kennedy Jr. and Cheryl Hines.

Literature is dying, the institutions are collapsing, it's all a rigged maze, you'll never make money doing this, everyone's attention span is 1.2 seconds so you better be able to spit out what that 80,000 words is about fast, and the apocalypse is nigh. Become a writer!

what Los Angeles did this weekend… every weekend.

we need something like that every weekend until the people affected finally feel relief.

we need it until ALL those suffering, fire or not, in Los Angeles feel relief.

we need to hold on to this mobilization. maybe not so large, but steady.

🤍
