(For real though, what is about Scarlet that brings all these likes out of nowhere?? Is there a trigger word related to it, I'm so fascinated...)

Yeah, that book can be a lot!! I just really understood the full plot on a reread, maybe 3rd haha

That said, if you like books with these challenging narrative ideas, and just unabashedly cool beats, it might be for you!

Just a heads up, but Phonogram is also highly metaphorical, even more so

Aesthetically, this is the coolest book Bendis has ever worked on, and that's totally thanks to Gaydos, who brings his art to the next level. Insane book

It's great, right?
I was really happy Dark Horse released a "complete collection" Trade, really convenient and cool

Thank you so much for all the recommendations!! Some I already had on my watchlist but many I didn't, got to know many movies that do look right up my alley!!

Of these, I only saw Nekokuro (I love it alongside Onibaba) and True Grit, some of these others I'm now dying to watch!

I really like Season One!! Always wanted a continuation, and I think it's Dennis Hopeless' best work. It's so charming, and Jamie's art is part of it

I assumed it was known, but have you checked The Wicked + The Divine? It is THE Gillen/McKelvie book to check!
