Unexpected thing I learnt this morning: Marina Abramovic is such a fan of Miriam Elia (We go to the Gallery) that she gets together with friends and reads them out loud, hooting.
She didn't know Miriam but, ahead of the RA show, found her and asked her to write a life-of-Marina satire. See below.

As we settle in here, I’m struck by the possibility that the lost tribe of Twitter, forced into exile by Elon, are going to end up wandering aimlessly in the digital desert, from platform to platform, never finding a permanent home, every time believing this will be the one.

In other news, at a drinks party last night, I met a chap who is working on Liz Truss's new "Growth Commission" which launches next Wednesday. He explained to me that what people didn't know about Liz was this: she is bad at politics but very good at economics. I believe he was on her payroll.

I go away for two weeks and all sorts of new places open in Soho. The most striking is Manzi’s. Originally a 1920s Italian fish restaurant, the same vintage as Quo Vadis, the Wolseley Group bought the name, some chic furnishings and good blue paint. It’s “soft launch” week. Table booked. Let’s see

Online social lives all have different forums. Suddenly Club Twitter is over. But do you really want to hang with those friends in the chillout rooms of Instagram? A weird social shuffle is about to happen
