Sounds like Gabbard fired them for telling the truth.

Not much “intelligence” going on here…

Gabbard fires intel officials who oversaw memo contradicting White House claims on Venezuelan gang
Democratic lawmakers criticized the firings, suggesting they were punishment for providing information that didn’t support the administration’s agenda.

The arguments against birthright citizenship aren't credible exercises of intellectual exploration; they are anti-constitutional themselves.

The purpose of the Citizenship Clause was to end the debate. Entertaining anything other than citizenship by native birth is an attack on the 14th Amendment.

The plan to defund Planned Parenthood would cost taxpayers $300 million over the next decade, according to a leaked preliminary estimate compiled by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO).
The GOP's plan to defund Planned Parenthood would add $300 million to the deficit
So much for cutting costs.

I think I've found a way to articulate what bothers me about the trajectory of the modern tech industry (and to some extent... society).

We are on this Earth to provide for each other. That's the "mission" of humanity as I see it.

This is incompatible with what the tech industry seeks to do.

These stories are not from Substackers, or newsletter writers, or pundits (as wonderful and valuable as they are.) They are from the NYTimes, the WaPo, NPR and Politico, major news institutions that have the resources to investigate this. Again, I urge you, support them however you can.

NEW: I'm heading to the Senate floor where I'm going to lead Democrats in holding the floor ahead of RFK Jr.'s confirmation vote. This is the most dangerous and unqualified nominee for HHS I've seen in my lifetime and I'm not giving up without a fight.

Very proud to announce the Department of Health will now process all requests to change gender designation on birth certificates within three business days. Previously, there was as much as a 10 month wait.

I personally will continue to use "Gulf of Mexico" because our president is a wrathful felonious nincompoop with the intellect of paramecium and I do not consent to his cartographic buffoonery
Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons:

-We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S.

-The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous.
