Hi, I totally agree! I think the message here is that the best diet is the one you're willing to follow. Tom's diet was certainly not perfect, but it allowed him to be consistent, which he had not been able to be with other diets in the past.

I completely agree! In the video, James Corden talked about how defects in the leptin gene are linked to obesity. We should definitely keep this in mind when discussing body image and weight. This reminded me about how important it is to stay open minded.

I agree. I've found that it’s hard to eat healthy around others because I don't want to make others feel like I think I am better than them for choosing to be healthy, and I don’t want to make other people feel bad about themselves because of their choices.

That's really cool! Vitamin D is such an amazing nutrient. It's great for bone health and the immune system. The fact that Vitamin D shows up on the label of so many daily multivitamins shows how incredibly important vitamin D is!

I think the carnivore diet is super interesting and I'm curious about the potential health implications. I think there are definitely more well rounded diets out there, but this one seems to be one of the simpler ones, which makes it appealing

Those are great ideas! Replacing the white bread with whole grain bread is my favorite way to make something more nutrient dense because it is so simple and effective. It gives you more vitamin E, vitamin B, fiber, healthy fats, phytochemicals, and minerals.

I also had some trouble recalling all the little details in the food I eat. I also avoided my usual snacking because I didn’t want to go through recording it. Still, it was a really good experience and helped me learn more about what I eat.

Wow, that’s so interesting! I have a super hard time falling asleep. I like to have warm milk before I go to sleep, and that seems to help. Now that I’ve taken a look at these 9 reasons to go to bed before 10PM, I’m going to make an extra effort.
