Structure of human mitochondrial pyruvate carrier - what a milestone by the wonderful Dan Ma's lab from Westlake! Using Xudong Wu's expertise in nanoantibodies, they capture MPC during transport, revealing its pseudo-symmetric model and alternate opening mechanism with functional cardiolipin. Bravo!
