Also: you can do it! 🙂

It is very tedious yes but if you plan on doing the endgame stuff it’s definitely worth the effort. Pre-clearing is a good idea if you’re having trouble. Double the tedium at one go but hopefully precludes further extended tedium.

Just heard the latest Triple Click and felt compelled to let you know there is also a Venture Bros movie which came out in 2023 and is absolutely worth watching. Beautiful capstone to a very weird and fascinating series. Title is “Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart.”

Good call. The 多言語対応 version is still super tough to get here. (Glad I got lucky in round one)

The game starts with you going to *fight and defeat a god.* You later learn that that god exists in another plane and has a family. That doesn't make the characters you've been journeying with *not* human, and it doesn't change the fact that you're fighting against gods! How do people not get this?!

This is something I really find fascinating in how so many people seem to go "oh, I guess none of this matters?" when that's so *clearly* not the point.

Spoilers in my next reply. Chaining this down so there's a bit more of a buffer.

Saw it on Sunday. Was glad I wasn’t the only person in the theater sniffling through tears at multiple points in the film.

(The pamphlet design is so good!)

Story is perhaps deeper, but the initial cast of characters is slimmer and not as immediately catchy as Hades imo. Possible this changes in 1.0 but I don’t think it’s likely.

Depends why you didn’t click. I think Hades II is more technically complex and demanding compared to Hades, especially when comparing the first few hours of each and the learning curve. I expect it to pick up the difficulty discourse from Silksong in some respects.

Kinda cute that they gave you line of sight to the Konami booth 👀

I’ll be there Thursday so I’ll be sure to say hi!

I think both of them were on sale the other day. I guess the sale timing was set differently though? Very odd.
