Is anyone surprised this how he/they are governing international affairs? They do the same thing with women’s rights.
Trump exploded in front of the press this morning.

Israel and Iran “don’t know what the fuck they’re doing,” Trump raged after the unilateral ceasefire he commanded didn’t hold.

In any other era, the Secretary of Defense threatening to invade an ally and one of our largest trade partners would be front page news for days.

It’s not even the stupidest, most reckless thing this administration has done this afternoon.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

Wow. Canada should be paying close attention to how Trump is treating Zelensky. Wonder when we start tearing up major contracts and doing business with the EU.
Trump to Zelenskyy: "Don't tell us what we're gonna feel. You're in no position to dictate that. You're in no position to dictate what we're gonna feel. We're gonna feel very good and very strong. You're right now not in a very good position. You're gambling with World War 3."

Can Wayne not speak for himself?

Running around in a MAGA hat and staying silent is all that needs to be said.
Janet Gretzky posted a letter from Hockey Hall of Famer Bobby Orr regarding how "the haters" have gone after Wayne Gretzky following the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Regarding Wayne, she said "it has broken his heart to read and see the mean comments."

The year is 2097, your history teacher asks for an event where people tested FAFO theory. You think nervously for a second, raise your hand and say 2025 America. The teacher asks you why you are answering in English. You shrug and continue your day hoping you don’t have to go outside in the heat.

Agree, @plagasse.bsky.social is always worth reading. And 100% agree on his main point that we need to plan. Would quibble that QC doesn't have the benefits (or risks) of true sovereignty (veteran of Clarity Act here).

When I can't sleep at night, here are the six general scenarios I think about.

Meanwhile, some Canadian media are still writing that the US is not our enemy and not taking his threats to our sovereignty seriously. Last I checked, a majority voted him in for another term. Maybe all media in Canada should start taking this seriously as a precursor to war. How are we preparing?
Trump: "Without us, Canada can't make it. Canada relies on us 95%. We rely on them 4%. Big difference. And I say Canada should be our 51st state ... if they had to pay their way, they couldn't exist."

Fake news. Many extremely reasonable and intelligent Canadians I know are talking about developing nukes. These same people would never in a million years have considered this 37 days ago.
