Do republicans think they control the media to the point where disrupting air traffic isn’t political suicide? Or is it just that they wield all this power but nobody’s actually in charge?

The gap between teacher pay and other college graduates’ pay is the highest it’s been in over four decades.

Is there a “teacher shortage,” or a shortage of jobs that treat educators with the pay, dignity, and support they deserve?

Listen, Tenar. Heed me. You were the vessel of evil. The evil is poured out. It is done. It is buried in its own tomb. You were never made for cruelty and darkness; you were made to hold light, as a lamp burning holds and gives its light.

NPR and PBS received ~$85 million last year in federal funding.

Trump’s golf trips will cost taxpayers over $100 million this year.

Republicans think kids learning to read is wasteful spending and indoctrination, while giving a blank check to their cult leader to golf isn’t.

Yet another way in which Trump circa 2025 is an even dumber and nuttier reboot of Menem in Argentina circa 1993, but this time with nukes, (more) Nazis, and existential stakes for the entire world.

(midflight open heart surgery was a classic Menem boast)
A former engineer at Google once described Yarvin’s philosophy for engineering as “breaking an airplane while it was in mid-flight, and rebuild it while it’s still in the air.” Now attempt to do that with open heart surgery and see how that goes. He has a similar approach with politics.

I'm calling for an investigation into whether President Trump manipulated the market to benefit his Wall Street donors—all while working people and small businesses paid the price.

Did Trump help insiders cash in on his tariff flip-flopping? It sure looks like corruption.

No NYT, a Trump-Putin meeting isn’t like the Yalta Conference.

Yalta 1945 was allies who fought for years against aggression planning for after Germany’s defeat.

This is the US—which didn’t fight in the war—trying to help Russian aggression, pretending Ukraine lost in the field and has no agency.
