God, this guy is such an asshole. Why do his constituents continue to vote for him?

This is the same guy who thinks the City should clear snow from driveway and collect leaves off his property (not his responsibility I guess) - but ensuring kids get a proper meal is a bridge too far apparently.
"What are we teaching the kids? That now, not only are many things in life the responsibility of others, now suddenly it's the responsibility of the school or the institution to put food into their mouths?" Holyday says.

"Kids should learn how to make and prepare meals," he says.

Ontario voted for continued decline in health care, education, smart infrastructure, and competence, but an increase in places to buy booze. And the Ontario Liberals choosing Bonnie Crombie was an absolute self-immolation.

I'm genuinely trying to understand why he's on pace for another majority. If you care about respect for taxpayers, this party ain't it.

Life has become so much less affordable under this govt, and services are much worse. I'd truly like to know: What's the draw for so many?

How these guys are on track for a 3rd majority is hard to comprehend.

Ontario PCs: Gettin' it Done!

(Please note: "Gettin' it Done" = more red tape, bigger government, record deficits, less choice, reduced safety, and more congestion)
Bill 212 passes 66-27. Just wild to watch our government blithely make everything worse for literally everyone. Fuck.

Yikes. 80 down to 26 is not a sign of a Council or Planning department that are particularly serious about affordability
On #NationalHousingDay, it is worthwhile to note that this 26-Unit #AffordableHousing site in Riverdale started at 80 units back in 2018, which was cut to 32 units, which was cut to 26 units - mostly due to City Planning policy & "Heritage" preferences...
