Seriously it is such an honor to get to be a part of this. This compilation series, in addition to being a favorite of mine since its inception, is an opportunity for people to do some collective good with their art. Being on the same compilation with some of my favorite bands is a trip!

I was today years old when I learned that the song Live is Life wasn’t originally by Laibach. AND that it is LIVE is Life not Life is Life.
If it matters, I discovered this because the original Opus version of the song was (somewhat paradoxically) playing at a Mexican restaurant.

This remix was an absolute pleasure to make, using a methodology I had never tried before, I was able to go in some directions wouldn’t have thought to go. Also I got to finally use a good ‘ole TB-303 bassline, which I have been itching to do for awhile but never quite found an opportunity to.
Today’s track focus is on @joshkillcrop.bsky.social “Wine-Dark” mix of “Stars Rain”! Last summer he asked me to remix his “Plastic Embrace” track, which is easily the best remix I have ever done & I was itching to have him return the favor, which he did BEAUTIFULLY! Link below!
