Also, just to mention that we do not necessarily support the concept of citizens having to pay for climate action in this way. However, the question of donating 1% of monthly income was a useful measure for assessing climate action support, replicated from this paper: www.nature.com/articles/s41...

This gap matters. If those who directly shape climate policies underestimate public support, they may hold back on the bold climate action we urgently need. Correcting this misperception could help unlock stronger, faster policies to protect our health and planet.
