Lordy, a friend told me I should cozy up to another friend to gain a connection to a mutual friend. Seriously? I've known that mutual connection since I was 14, worked for him in college, and dated him after college. I think I'm connected enough.

Lordy... We just invited my ex-husband plus his date over for Christmas day. Our family celebration will be on the 29th, so we're hosting friends who don't have anywhere to be on Christmas day. Are we crazy?

Awww... y'all... A friend just called me because they are taking food to her aunt and uncle's place for Christmas, and her aunt and uncle are newly vegan. She asked if she could hire me to make some food. Obviously, I won't let he pay me because I am so happy to make vegan Christmas food!
