I agree but to have viable +2 party systems we will probably need to completely change the way we do voting (ranking) or move to a parliamentary system.
Two party system is how we ended up with the guy in the WH

I think there is a much bigger chance that the US will have less territory at the end of the Trump administration than it does at the beginning. I don't see PR becoming part of Spain, though; it's more likely to become independent.
