The attorneys arguing to defend this travesty done by the Trump administration should be disbarred.

It's like the Trump administration is hoping to deny delay defend and indefensible action. The and their lawyers are risking the life of an innocent.

I think a red light camera are appropriate, with plenty of signage.

One thing to speak with electeds about is to make sure we have ticket reciprocity, as people still don't pay many fines:

We are still in our first home, 1,500 sqft, with access to some public transportation for commute hours. It will be 18 years, and no plans to move.

The key thing is some bikeability, trending positively.
25 years later, and I'm still in my starter home. It turns out, 1200 sqft isn't that bad (even with two kids) when you have a nice front porch and a good, walkable neighborhood.

An extra half bath would be great, tho.
Starter homes — small, affordable homes typically for first-time buyers — were once a staple of American neighborhoods but have become increasingly rare due to restrictive zoning laws and financial incentives for larger structures.

Cannot stop thinking about how Octavia Butler wrote a book in 1993 about climate change. It opens with deadly fires in LA in 2025. In the story, a fascist President has just won office with the campaign slogan "Make America Great Again."

She was a modern day Nostradamus. If only we'd listened.

Charters, private schools, anything outside of a public department of education is largely unaccountable, rarely does good and more frequently negatively impacts students lives... for profit.
What happens when you run schools like a business: "By the time a cohort of charter schools has reached the five year mark, one in four have closed. By year 10, four in 10 charters have closed. At the end of 15 years, nearly half of charter schools have closed." #CharterSchoolFail

The suburban sprawl model of development and housing is economically unsustainable.

This is why for me, any NIMBY obstructing rezoning, denser infill, bike infrastructure and mass transit, is responsoble for pricing out younger generations.
ON SUBURBAN SPRAWL: “Bankrupting municipal budgets, creating epidemics of preventable diseases, and helping to cause climate change — that’s how you start a conversation why more of our growth should go to infill and transit-oriented development. The argument is not ideological, it’s mathematical.”
Dense urbanism is great for downtowns. But what about suburbs?
