I used to post my book reviews on Instagram, but now that my Facebook & Instagram are deactivated, I figured I could post them here as I enjoy making them! I'm looking forward to hearing what people think about my reads from 2024 and what I plan to read in 2025! 📚 📖 #booksky #bookreviews #goodreads

"On Tyranny" is a #1 NYT bestseller again. I wish the moment were different. But I’m glad the book is useful. And grateful for all the kind words about putting the 20 lessons to work.

In times of revolution, many things change. If we are able to rebuild our research bodies, one thing we would Iike to see change is for-profit scientific journals.

Scientific publications should be open access if government-funded and journals should at minimum be non-profit.

Measles high infection rate is the reason we have not yet been able to eradicate it. That rate means you need a very high vaccination rate to prevent outbreaks. It is possible, but not with current levels of institutional distrust.
The average person with the flu gives it to around 1.4 people. The average person with measles gives it to between 12 and 18 people.
