(From the movie Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World) Mr. Hollum, a midshipman aboard the HMS Surprise, thanks his fellow officer Mr Blakeny for always being kind to him. Mr Hollum has always been a bit awkward, and that has led to both a lack of promotions and him being perceived as bad luck, a Jonah, by the crew. The ship is stuck in windless doldrums and is running out of drinkable water, as well as losing track of their French target. Right after this goodbye, he will pick up a cannonball and hop off the side of the ship. For better or worse, the next day the winds pick up and the crew is saved from the doldrums. Basically uh I know irony isn’t Mr Hollum here I just love to spread the good word about Master and Commander

In the top panel, Jim Halpert (The Office) is listing things out on his fingers. In the bottom panel, Jim is sitting at a conference table strewn with papers and filing boxes with Dwight sitting cross-armed and staring at the table, while Michael is reading off the documentation of a prank from a sheet of paper. Jim feels a little remorse for having heard alllllll the things he’s done to Dwight, but this doesn’t stop him from pulling some incredible ones (and others not so great) later in the show.
