The only thing holding my life together (sort of) at the moment is my run streak and training for my next race. I’m exhausted by life and autistic burnout that’s been ongoing for a while. Everything is hard and I’m so tired and overwhelmed.

Empathy is what enables humanity to flourish. It is a necessary and important pillar to uphold any long term successful civilization. Empathy builds community. Selfishness leads to isolation and downfall. Selfishness may appear strong in the short term but it will erode and collapse.
