“Vouchers are welfare for the wealthy.”
Greg Abbott and his billionaire mega-donors know private school vouchers are unpopular in Texas.

So they’ve paid for a poll-tested rebrand to sell their scam.

Here’s how to debunk their “school choice” slogan in 60 seconds…

The NCAA had to be shamed like four years ago to finally let women basketballers use the phrase “March Madness.” So, I’m saying: I agree with Ryan.

Forecasting presented in this morning's Airport Commission Meeting indicated that we'd see 49% growth in the next decade. Grateful for an incredible airport team that continues to plan ahead to deliver an awesome experience for us and visitors through BOI! ✈️
Boise Airport sets new record for passenger traffic with 4.9 million in 2024
The Boise Airport welcomed a record 4,990,885 passengers in 2024. BOI has seen an 81% increase in passengers in the past decade.

🚨Utah and Washington providers are reporting the same. As a Headstart kid I'm asking you to grab your pitchforks and by grab your pitchforks I mean your cell phone and dial 208-334-1953 or 208-888-3188 (Simpson or Fulcher), 208-342-7985 (Risch), & 208-334-1776 (Crapo). Save these #s while at it!

I appreciate Idaho Dept of Fish & Game sending out this flyer explaining how the Boise foothills fire affects deer, rehabilitation measures & why recreational closures are necessary.

I know so many love to hike the foothills but we all need to give wildlife space this winter.

My daughter is feeling major Thanksgiving Eve vibes. Made herself a cup of cocoa, bundled in a new sweater, enjoying the crisp air on the porch. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours this week!

as an abundance guy I really love the CFPB because Senator Warren took great care to set it up to be a high performing public agency, exempt from a lot of the standard rules that bog down other public entities
Right-wing figures like Elon detest the CFPB because it is an administrative success story, an agency that has returned billions of dollars to consumers from the scam economy. The hatred dates to the agency's founding. For the history, see harvardlawreview.org/print/vol-13...

The awesome thing about driving a car on the redesigned 11th and Grove Streets downtown is that you feel like a guest on it. The environment wasn’t built for your car. The lanes are narrow. Big sidewalk/bike lanes. Curb extensions. You naturally go slower. More attentive.

We should do more of it.

I hate to say it but I mourned the loss of what Merritts was in the 2000s a long time ago. Never should have remodelled that place. Will always have fond memories!
This iconic Boise restaurant could be torn down on State Street and rebuilt in the name of progress. The towering, weathered sign outside disappeared weeks ago. Now the entire building could be turned to rubble.
