Israeli government advertising snuck through on my you tube yesterday - encouraging me to do the Jerusalem marathon - in reporting it I saw what other adverts they were pumping out. So much violent disinformation sanctioned by google. Wonder who the really nasty stuff is being shown to

Passed through Darlington at the weekend. Loads of flags at half mast on lampposts for some reason. Has an important local died that I don’t know about? Only reason I can think of for such a display

Hi @livingstreets.bsky.social London E20, what was the Olympic Village, has lots of lovely wide pavements for pedestrians, making it easier for people with mobility issues, and space for kids to play separated from the road. Can you spot all 5 drivers who thought “I can drive on that!”?

Due to an error, I first voted when I was 17. I was informed and engaged. My parents didn’t vote in that election because it was the Europeans, and they thought it wasn’t relevant to anything (and no political party was telling them otherwise). Great move to open voting to 16/17yos #UKPolitics

Wheelchair user. The scourge of dickheads parking cars and vans across the pavement and completely blocking my way is getting worse. I'm completely helpless and am so frustrated, angry and upset by its impact on my daily life, I now carry a penknife in my chair to puncture tyres.

@phlaimeaux.bsky.social Obviously perked up at mention of summer tyres on the Stephen Roche bike on #WhatDidYouDoYesterday but without mentioning brand and relative rolling resistance?! (My focus is always flat-resistance for London/Essex roads 🙁) And how do the 30mm sit on historically narrow rims?

Why do men in power so often think it’s a great idea to just start killing people? If they tried it in a Wetherspoon’s on a Saturday night, they’d get arrested. As a president or prime minister though, other countries line up to sell them arms, and thousands line up to pull the trigger…
