Donald Trump and J.D. Vance both seem to have real empathy for anyone whose life directly mirrors their own. For Trump it’s anyone who is corrupt and has been investigated for being corrupt. For Vance it’s any online troll who gets in trouble for some bigoted/racist thing he’s said online.

AOC, Jasmine Crocket and Chris Murphy need to address the nation tomorrow night and announce their plans for a nationwide work strike. The whole government is going to shut down in two weeks anyways. Why not do it on our own terms, and actually try to get something out of it?

Hot take: Elon Musk doesn’t really have anything against the Big Beautiful Bill. He just realizes it’s a shitty bill and it’s going to be wildly unpopular and potentially career ending for anyone who doesn’t successfully distance themself from it.

Inflation is a feedback loop in which higher prices force workers to demand higher wages, resulting in higher prices, then higher wages. Today, as prices skyrocket and corporate profits soar, wages remain pretty flat. GOP blames inflation, but it's price gouging and greedflation.

It’s a shame all the classic science fiction writers from the 50s-70s that Elon Musk clearly idolizes are all dead. It would be really gratifying to see a Harlan Ellison or an Isaac Asimov sit Elon down and explain to him how profoundly he has misunderstood the lessons from their works.

I don’t know if we’ll still be doing those quaint election things anymore in 2028 but I would kill to see Josh Shapiro debate JD Vance. I’m 100% sure Shapiro would trounce him and I’m fairly confident Vance might cry in the end.

I’m going to be honest. Shutting down CFPB, OSHA, and USAID after they investigated Starlink. I’m seeing a lot of Musk priorities fulfilled, not too many Trump ones. What’s next the Department to be EOed into existence the “Come on, Taylor Swift, just go on one date with Elon. Please!” Bureau?

I had planned to just lay back and let Trump dig his own grave for a while and then like the first freakin’ week he was like “you know what sucks? The separation of powers spelled out in the constitution. We’re going to go ahead and do away with that.” (Sigh) Back to the fight I guess!

Elon Musk has broken the law. He is not the treasury secretary. He is essentially a private citizen. If I showed up to the treasury and tried what he did, I’d be arrested. He should be arrested.
