I combine design, illustration, and storytelling to create personal brands and websites that feel more human. Sharing what I learn along the way.
Customers crave authentic brands with real stories.

BRCC created a successful brand by:

-Showcasing the founder's military background

-Using military-inspired branding and product names

-Engaging directly with their community on social media

💡Simple. But highly effective.

Now check out this hero section I created

It answers the 3 big questions:
✅ Life improvement (through joy & purpose)
✅ Specified solution (Positive Psychology)
✅ How to get it (book a free call)

The image of a person experiencing joy and happiness mirrors the message.

This first one isn't bad
but it's not great either.

❌ There's no specific problem (business problems)
❌ The solution is vague (get to the next level)
❌ A better life is implied but not stated

An image of yourself might work for influencers, but relatable images are better.

Your hero section should answer these 3 critical questions:

1. What problem do you solve?
2. How does it improve the customer's life?
3. How can they get it?

Keep it concise for impact. A fitting image strengthens your message.

See the examples below. 👇

Have you heard the saying, "Make your customer the hero, not yourself"?

Sounds obvious but I see so many people getting this wrong on their websites.

Fail with the hero section, and you've blown your first impression.
You have under 5 seconds to grab attention.

Here's how I do it 👇🧵
