An excellent point.
am i wrong? we paid with our taxes for all the CDC and other federal information to be gathered through research and surveys, that belongs to the people, to serve the needs of the people, I don't see how anyone has the right to delete the peoples' information

Authors, if you see this, it's a sign to post the first line of your book.

Love this perspective, from the ever-wise @rebeccasolnit.bsky.social.
It is Friday afternoon of a wild, wild week. And yet for me a reassuring one. My greatest fear was not of what they would do. It's that we would let them. And I'm seeing a lot of beautiful intransigence. From federal workers. From people all over the country obstructing ICE....

"The German painter Gerhard Richter called art 'the highest form of hope.' Hope, too, requires more effort than despair. Art always reaches upward, even when it comes from the depths of our souls. Even when our arms feel too heavy to lift."

Welcome to the whole world, Kevin.
I have a big ask. My 9yo son is autistic and he’s been raising a betta fish he named Kevin. Yesterday He asked if he could “share a photo of Kevin with the whole world“. I don’t know if this will work, but a dad’s gotta try. Like and share if that’s your thing. Kevin says hi! 🐟👋

Paid a ridiculous van repair bill today because squirrels. They chewed up harnesses and wires for the air bag sensor and other things I can't remember. Two questions: A) Why are squirrels so mean? B) How can I stop them without poison or employing an armed guard?
