President Trump proposed eliminating the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities in the budget he released Friday, taking aim once again at two agencies that he had tried and failed to get rid of during his first term.

The president’s budget proposal also called for getting rid of the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

10 February 1944 | A transport of 1,015 Jews deported from Westerbork in the German-occupied Netherlands arrived at #Auschwitz. SS doctors sent 142 men & 73 women to the camp.

The remaining 800 people were murdered in gas chambers.
Eva & Liane Münzer (7 & 5) were among them.

Diversity in clinical trials is about health, not politics. The major of research in the past was done on (mostly white) men. If trials do not have a diverse pool, the results are not broadly applicable.

My favorite Jimmy Carter story as well. The dude had enormous brass balls. Yeah, sure, just walk into a compromised nuclear reactor on the verge of meltdown to save a bunch of people you don't know.
