There’s a bunch of Afghans and Ukrainians who have taken shop floor jobs in my company.

Quite a few have become qualified engineers on good money within a year, which I am sure will annoy the racists who refuse to work nights or weekends or do any studying.

Agreed, but Meteor also tended not to kill its own pilots in the way the Me-262 did (well, until Korea), and didn't have stupid numbers of variants that made it hard to repair.

I'm admittedly a Typhoon/Mustang fan, but hard to argue the Meteor was very good operationally for a very new technology

I somehow accidentally transferred into being a process engineer earlier this year, so my work is a bit different, but found Gemini is not-as-good-as-Claude, but still good enough.

Still can't decide which one is worth spending money on, as I don't like shelling out on two LLMs simultaneously

I haven't used the Chinese LLMs for a little while, but would be tempted. Mostly Gemini and Claude seem the best I've experienced at the moment.

I could not be paid to use Grok.

How good is Sonnet 4.5? I left for Google Gemini in the summer because Claude was a bit rubbish on Sonnet 4 and Opus kept on rate limiting.
