So why the change? This confused me for a long while until I played FF4 the After Years. The final boss in that game is being known as the Creator. And while their final form is not an exact match for Ultima's ff14 design, I see much more similarity to it than any of the previous Ultima designs.

It all starts with FF14's Ivalice alliance raids. Obviously, these are a tribute to the setting of Ivalice seen in FF12, and even more so, FF Tactics. Fans may be surprised to reach the end of these raids and see that Ultima the High Seraph's appearance does not match any of her previous forms.

I'm glad this is being brought up. Since the people of Etheirys are not unified, cosmic exploration could be seen by others as a means for Sharlyan to expand their influence. Many of the CE crew being former Garleans also wouldn't help their public image, especially with formerly occupied nations.

Interesting lore about Y'shtola and her family. When you consider that in 7.4 we'll be doing a variant dungeon with yet another of her sisters, I get the feeling the devs are laying the groundwork for a Y'shtola arc next expansion. (fingers crossed)

Finished #MetalGearSolidΔ. Gotta say, I'm impressed. It still feels like Snake Eater, and the QOL improvements don't ruin the game's balance for me. While the visuals are certainly different, it's clear a lot of effort went into making it look good, not just realistic. Anyway, here's some #pixelart.

Finished #MetalGearSolidΔ. Gotta say, I'm impressed. It still feels like Snake Eater, and the QOL improvements don't ruin the game's balance for me. While the visuals are certainly different, it's clear a lot of effort went into making it look good, not just realistic. Anyway, here's some #pixelart.
