I deleted my account on the old site a few weeks ago now, and ever since then, I've wanted to post other things on my account. You've already seen some of this with my recent pixel art pieces, but I think I'm going to shift this account towards my interests as a whole rather than just Final Fantasy

Okay, I need to rant about something that's been bugging me for a while, and it has to do with a bunch of different Final Fantasy games. There will be a range of minor to major spoilers for #finalfantasytactics, #FFXII, the #FFXIV Ivalice and Pandemonium raids, and #FFIVtheafteryears.
Morbols. Having multiple status effects applied simultaneously has to feel like absolute hell, and Jon wants none of it if he can help it. Although it's less that he refuses to fight them, and more that he will bombard from a distance until they are naught but ash before approaching.

There's lots of stuff, really. But if I had to narrow it down to one, it would be Cecil from Final Fantasy 4. Cecil's journey from Dark Knight to Paladin is a big inspiration for how I've characterized Jon.

There's lots of stuff, really. But if I had to narrow it down to one, it would be Cecil from Final Fantasy 4. Cecil's journey from Dark Knight to Paladin is a big inspiration for how I've characterized Jon.
Read some books, check on friends, do a bit of traveling with Lyse, etc.

Jon's pretty resilient to hot and cold weather. But in more extreme cases, such as below freezing, being inside a volcano, etc., he'll rely on potions to keep himself warm or cool.

I'm glad this is being brought up. Since the people of Etheirys are not unified, cosmic exploration could be seen by others as a means for Sharlyan to expand their influence. Many of the CE crew being former Garleans also wouldn't help their public image, especially with formerly occupied nations.

Interesting lore about Y'shtola and her family. When you consider that in 7.4 we'll be doing a variant dungeon with yet another of her sisters, I get the feeling the devs are laying the groundwork for a Y'shtola arc next expansion. (fingers crossed)

There was lots that Jon used to feel guilty about. His parents' deaths, the bloody banquet, his own actions as a DRK, Haurchefant, Ysayle, Papalymo, etc. But now, he's able to put such regrets behind him. Because for every tragedy he's endured, there are dozens he's prevented.

I have very mixed feelings about the new #Dissidia game. On the one hand, I've seen from watching Opera Omnia cutscenes how a mobile game could be perfect for giving a spotlight to lesser known Final Fantasy characters. Noel and Ultimecia bonding over their shared experience of living in isolation

The Mark of Rhalgr in Little Ala Mhigo. Jon and his parents took refuge there following the Calamity. It's also where his parents passed away to disease in the following years. He couldn't really afford a proper burial, so the Mark of Rhalgr is the closest thing he's got for a gravestone to visit.

Not really. Jon may have some high standards for culinary technique, but he'd still be willing to eat just about anything.
