i bet it's because planners imagine people walking into a theater and sitting down, and they imagine people with pickleball gear and they can't imagine people walking around with their pickleball gear. you need a car for that surely.

courts and civil institutions still need to fight back, as do political institutions, (voters and democrats) but this vote really makes it feel like he failed to consolidate authoritarian power, and he's officially a lame duck.
