Possibly, although if they leaked it after giving translation to Witkoff to give to Kyiv, it might have upset Witkoff or White House. Which points finger more towards the U.S. as leakers.

Interested to know which title you think is more appropriate. Revolution to me implies the distorted notion that it was throwing off a king or tyrant, rather than rule by a British constitutional monarchy, albeit rather oligarchical, with an electorate not that much smaller than the U.S. in 1789.

It’s nothing like Korea. The two Koreas were still Korean. The occupied territories were home to 12 million people, majority Ukrainian and now under a brutal and ethnocidal regime wiping out Ukrainian culture and identity and returning the Crimean Tatars to the Russian jackboot. Get a grip.

Curiously the version reported by Axios was in Ukrainian and English, not Russian. Does that suggest that a Ukrainian may have leaked it for some reason? E.g. to highlight how bad it was? Hmmm…Or a more insidious agenda?

Not convinced regime needs to hold empire together by external demonstrations of force. Colonisation is too embedded. Only bigger republics with titular peoples in majority outside Caucasus fringe are Tatarstan, Sakha and Kalmykia. Other means of coercion/persuasion (and Chechnya example) suffice.

No it just means they won’t recognise the change. Similar to Israeli annexations of Golan and E Jerusalem.

They haven’t actually accepted that borders have been changed in the sense of recognising them. Invasions and annexations have been condemned in the UN , not just by Western countries. It may not be the same as kicking out Russia by force but there’s a big difference between rejection and acceptance

Hard agree. Lots of poor shots in both innings whereas Australia’s low first innings down mainly to bowling. Head was brilliant but pitch was getting much easier.

Not should any self respecting country support any concession of territory or lift any sanctions until Russia at the very least rescinds all the annexations and allows international observers into the occupied territories.
