…not trying to be macabre. But it’s refreshing to hear a story, where it is justified, and if not justified, used to make a point about the ugliness of the Healthcare system we live with…instead of just mindless killing of innocents.

I’ll take the former every day of the week if given a choice.

They look absolutely crazed, too. I like how the bird at the end rushes off one of the others like he’s ruining the gig. #wildlife #birds

Beautifully put- If WB can see what they have in their hands: a rare late, great movie by a treasured American Icon- God, they should ride this all the way to the moon. So good.
Another recent piece I loved writing & want to re-share:
Clint Eastwood's #Juror2 is the kind of elegant procedural & morality play I dearly miss. Spoke to screenwriter Jonathan A. Abrams about his stellar debut & Eastwood mostly. For TIME, w/ some of my own reflections on a legend's storied career.
Juror No. 2 Is Classic Clint Eastwood—Down to Its Unpredictable Ending
The new courtroom drama, which could be the 94-year-old director's last film, reflects his preoccupations with moral gray areas and justice, down to its somber end.
