I hope have made a submission to ATAGI consultation for the proposed COVID-19 chapter in the Australian Immunisation Handbook closes 11.59pm tonight. No vax for <18, no vax for pregnant women if "vaccinated" but allow personal preference, no novavax consultations.health.gov.au/ohp-immunisa....

At least they mention "mask" which is huge progress for Australia. Missing "ventilation". Rest is the usual minimising-no consideration for long term impacts, elderly and immunocompromised only, doesn't impact kids. From the GP education body @racgp.bsky.social who don't follow the research.

A clear sign that some hospital policy has not moved to the point of acknowledging that C19 is airborne and implementing preventions in response. Until it does, people will continue to be lost to hospital acquired infection.
