I got my first Conklin a few weeks ago thanks to their Sidewalk Sale! I love any excuse to get a stub nib.
A fountain pen on a post-it miniature of a yellow legal pad with a dark wood vinyl covered desk underneath. The pen is open and the cap is standing upright with Conklin on the clip and 1898 at the bottom. The pen nib is a 1.1mm stub. The color of the pen is a mixture of light blue, bright green, and hot pink swirled around.

Went to the Hobonichi release at
Paper & Pencil yesterday. While the line was long, it was fun getting to know my line neighbors. Please enjoy my weeks planner with the extra journal pages, and the lovely stickers I picked up while there. Can’t wait to use my fountain pens with it!

The cover of the planner has a shine and texture to it similar to a men’s tie on the journal are embroidered wildlife, plants, and mushrooms and on the right center of the unopened planner it says 2026. The planner/journal sets and a wooden table, opened to the title page. The left side is blank and on the right side in the center middle, it says Hobonichi Techo 2026 with weeks and Mega underneath it. In the middle since the planner and a white piece of paper with a yellow cloth behind it. The left of the journal are various stickers of cats, and on the right are stickers that resemble stained glass. I adore my J. Herbin Violette Pensée. It’s a purple blue but if you don’t like it bluer you can get Hongdian’s Purple which is a purple with a hint of red-brown. Both are shown in order on a Rhodia notepad.

I got a medium nib at Atlas because that’s all they had left but I prefer larger size nibs anyway. Thanks to the fountain community for suggesting a step up in quality pens, Esterbrook knows their stuff and the little face on the nib is so cute!

Stationary haul from Paper & Pencil Chicago’s second birthday!! Got some stickers, tote, stamps, washi tape, a travel fountain pen, and a nice stack of water color paper for the Mrs to enjoy.
Spread out stationary on a wooden surface. Two packs of variety themed stickers, two rubber stamps, a roll of tea time themed washi tape, a plastic mesh bag to put all these in. Two stickers on a small journal show the Chicago flag but with pen nibs instead of stars, the other sticker says “Cute butt, full heart, can’t lose”. Beneath these is an A5 70 page watercolor pad, and a cream canvas bag with green trim and two orange Ps in the middle of the bag as a logo. Slightly inserted into the bag is Paper & Pencil’s postcard with a drawing of the storefront on it.
