And in case anyone gets IDEAS about the above: these are just motivating examples. Any real implementation would need a LOT of hardening against bad actors. What happens when Facebook fires everyone but the C-suite, and rehires as "contractors"? What about worker vote buying attempts? etc etc

I will now recall that time Carl Sagan wrote about a fictional future pope, an actually good one, which incensed someone so much /they literally nuked him/. I did not appreciate the full depth of that little turn when I first read Contact as a kid.
