Never change, Lane Hutson. Never change.
A day after a dominant performance in a Habs win in Boston:

Lane Hutson was back in Montreal today playing shinny hockey in NDG.

Stat of the day, brought to you by our favourite analyst, Corsi the Corgi:

Lane Hutson: 35 points
Auston Matthews: 23 points

Tell us again, Chris Pronger, how Hutson is just running around out there.

Goodness, the desire for the refs in this league to manage the game late is so annoying.

Anderson got a penalty after the 5-4 goal for I don't even know what... I really don't know.

I guess it is for shooting the puck down the ice after the goal.

It's laughable.

My column on Ken Dryden and the long, long line of great Canadiens goaltenders that stretches back more than a century - one of the great traditions in sports.

Todd: Ken Dryden an icon among Canadiens’ unmatched pantheon of superb goalies
At the most important position on the ice, the Habs have been blessed with more than a century of netminding greatness.

I’m autistic and have special needs.
People used to bully me for just being

only the beginning. #NeverGiveUp

And that's a wrap. Brian's usual fine job. I wish he wasn't right about the need for more nasty but he is. If the refs are going to allow cross-checks to the face but call penalties like the one on Jake Evans, the Habs have to bring the mean.
The Montreal Canadiens season is over, but what a season it was: Overachievers until the end.

In this final Call Of The Wilde for Global Montreal, the Demidov growth, the Laine question, and the search for a 2C, and more nasty because nasty is what the NHL wants.

Call of the Wilde: Montreal Canadiens’ season ends with 4-1 loss to Washington - Montreal | Globalnews.ca
Hockey has a lot of puck luck and the Canadiens couldn’t find any. Montreal's season ended with a 4-1 loss. Briam Wilde has more.

My column, written hours before yesterday's game, turned out to be more prescient than I suspected.
The Canadiens, with Xhekaj back in the lineup, dominated in every facet of the game.

Todd: Canadiens should play Arber Xhekaj so he gains playoff experience
Most fans want rugged defenceman to be inserted in the Habs lineup just so he can beat up Capitals’ tough guys, but he can actually play.

At a time when so few powerful people are willing to speak out and tell the truth about Trump, Pope Francis was a rare, plainspoken hero.
In his long life, Francis was right about many things, wrong about others – but he was above all a man of conscience. A rarity in this world. RIP, Pope Francis..

Positive, lighthearted and patriotic!! I love this ad.

What a contrast to the negativity, lies and smears in those awful ‘carbon tax Carney’ ads for the conservatives.
