Three years and one month from today, I’m going to grab a pickax and pull those letters off that building, but I’m going to need help holding the ladder. Are you in? Applying for my carpenter’s card today, so it’ll be a union job!!!

Kind of darkly funny that the government's defense of the well thought out plan for Trump's bigly beautiful ballroom looks like this

Hands down least “masculine” person I met covering tech. One lunch I had with him in Palo Alto (he was urging me to run for mayor and wanted to give me $) I recall thinking what an incredibly whiny boy (I think I told someone at the time: what a limp dick) and could not get away fast enough.

“It essentially declares outright opposition to the European Union. It’s JD Vance’s notorious speech in Munich but on steroids, and as official U.S. policy.”

Which is to say: This document is also a Kremlin-originated talking points memo.

Since at least 2014, the possibility that Ukraine might join these other former Soviet satellites in joining the E.U. has been a substantial threat to the Putin regime’s grip on Russia itself.

It’s not that *Russia* can’t abide Ukraine joining the E.U.—Putin and his KGB cronies can’t abide it.

A free and thriving Ukraine would make it undeniable that Putin’s rule has been an economic disaster for Russia.

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

This matters. Not because I think Trump is capable of mercy or empathy towards these vulnerable groups. But because it is a public act of defiance.

Contrast that with all these other powerful people in this country signaling nothing but appeasement and obedience.
Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde to Trump: "I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now. There are gay, lesbian, and transgender people in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives ... and the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals"
