This is a great move by USL and opens up a new revenue stream. All being well, we will see the same happen in the men's game soon.

Starting in 2027, the United Soccer League, or USL, will launch a Division One league, which would be the top professional level in the USL and would be on the same level as Major League Soccer.

90% of USL owners voting for the introduction of Promotion and Relegation is incredible and a testament to their desire to drive the growth of the game in the US.
After Wednesday's news a supermajority of owners in the #USLChampionship and #USLLeagueOne had voted to implement a promotion and relegation system, numerous clubs publicly voiced support.
It reflected a rapid sea-change that's occurred in league circles.

It's nice to see one of the biggest crowds for a Phoenix Rising home game in a long while. Some more folks are still in line for food as well.
