Good to talk on BBC Radio London about @resfoundation.bsky.social research finding that London is bucking the trend as a city that’s ageing - that’s not a bad thing (older people make an enormous contribution to the city). From 2:08:30 www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

We were pleased to see many MPs speak out in support of travel concessions for people over 60 in yesterday's debate. These concessions can be lifeline for many older people. We were pleased to discuss this matter with @tonyvaughanmp.bsky.social prior to the debate.

Great to have @unitetheunion.bsky.social campaigning so strongly on toilet availability.

It is a matter of public health and human dignity and also an issue of safety - if people are distracted by needing a toilet when driving a bus, that’s a risk that can be designed out by providing toilets.
🚽 Research by @unitetheunion.bsky.social has found over half of UK bus routes have no toilets available for drivers.

These findings show a complete failure when it comes to providing decent toilet facilities for bus drivers. 1/2 ⤵️

Happy birthday.

Seeing her perform just after lockdown was a cathartic heaving comet of joy.
