Get your bike lights on and head to the Phoenix Park tonight for the bicycle disco from 7.45pm today, Friday, October 10th. The event is being hosted again this year by Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council and the Office of Public Works along a car-free 5km around the Park. The organisers said: "All cyclists of all abilities are welcome to light up their bikes and enjoy the Phoenix Park in a most unique way with roads closed for participants' safety and enjoyment.

Dublin needs to first get the basics right: clean streets, good footpaths, less signage clutter. Not to even mention improved pedestrian areas and supports for the many people we all encounter each day across the city.
