I started this morning by winning a game.

But not The Game.

And now, I'm 1-1.

Started today by rescuing a savanna sparrow that somehow got into my daughter's bedroom. Still can't figure out how it got into the house. Her room is the furthest point from any of the doors.

A few years ago, my daughter found this beret at our local Goodwill. The look on her face is because I commented, "Prince was right."

Hydrate, people. In this heat, if you're thirsty, you're already dehydrated.

Get someplace cool: your local library, an indoor mall, anywhere you can exist out of the blazing sun for several hours.

Hi all, We’re still here at OPM.

We have a situation where we MIGHT, and I do mean, MIGHT have four of Elon’s people blocked from the building.

Can we get press or a member of Congress down here? We’ve blocked them for two hours and they keep coming back and trying to go in.

For the #booksky folks who may be looking for something to read this week, I highly recommend "The Scorpio Races" by @maggiestiefvater.bsky.social and "Together We Will Go" by J Michael Straczynski.

I wonder if country songs use whisky as their go to alcohol because it's easier to rhyme with than bourbon.

And the first earworm of 2025 is "Cruella de Vil".
