I had the absolutely surreal experience this weekend of walking a single delta front bedding plane that was 100x500 m wide. It had dunes (migrating up the present slope) with ripples on top of them.

I really like how Strong and Mudd related confluence asymmetry to sinuosity here. I think this could extend to coastal networks even more than they mention!
