2/2. Beyond that, we support science-based R&D on developing new systems that promote well-being by design. An example system to study is shorturl.at/i9Ldb, and see www.mdpi.com/2071-1050/12... for a concept of the R&D program.
First Micro-Simulation Model of a LEDDA Community Currency-Dollar Economy
Results are presented for a first-in-class microsimulation model of a local-national currency system. The agent-based, stock-flow consistent model uses US Census income data as a starting point to …

OK, when democrats regain power, we pass a law defining income/wealth target distributions and enact policies for a 10-year plan to reach those targets. This generates public discussion, makes the goals explicit, and allows for measurement of progress. 1/2

It will be on the ballot next November in Montana. My state!

Regarding fresh eyes, poverty is a system design choice. We can design/test new systems aimed at achieving income equality. We can fund a science-based R&D effort. As teaser, here is a simulation that results in income equality and funding for education, medical care, and more. shorturl.at/i9Ldb

Chris. We don't even need SciFi. We can now begin a science-based effort to explore and test new societal systems that by design promote human and environmental wellbeing. All we need is the will to do so, and a bit of funding, and we will be on our way. www.mdpi.com/2071-1050/12....

The billionaires are hoarding the wealth and squeezing governments in the process (forcing them to squeeze the rest of us). And governments are letting them do this.

Poverty is also a system design choice, and yes, we can build (and design) new systems that serve the people. Here is a simulation on one new design that results in income equality, full employment, and funding for education, medical care, and more. shorturl.at/i9Ldb

Looking for funding, if you know of any. :)

Hi Tim. Most of our serious social-enviro problems can be traced back to income inequality and pursuit of profit over social wellbeing. We can design new, better, fair systems. I simulate one that might be capable of funding higher education, medical care, and more. shorturl.at/i9Ldb

Simply put, capitalism has reached a point where such abusive things are necessary to continue the project that it rewards individuals willing to hurt anyone and do anything, creating a toxic feedback loop where the worst people are continually given the most wealth and power.

But capitalism is, at its heart, an economic system where the appetites of the greediest drive us to dysfunction and great suffering. That seems self-evident. The question is, what is next? How do we create a new economic system that achieves equality in wealth, power, and opportunity?

All bad, but perhaps especially billionaires, as that is who fuels Trump and the GOP (and any others who would rule the masses).
