Nothing but solidarity to the train engineers who drive hundreds of thousands of New Jerseyans to work every day. ✊
450 train engineers at NJ Transit walked off the job overnight after years of fruitless negotiations with their employer.

“It gives me great joy taking my commuters to and from work every day. We didn’t want to get to this point, but we’re here.”

NEWS: Sources tell me that DOGE is setting its sights on the Department of Labor next. DOL workers have been ordered to give DOGE access to whatever they ask for—or risk termination.

“We’re supposed to stop everything we’re doing and do whatever the DOGE kids ask… It feels dirty and illegal.”

It really is messed up how bad the computer is now
Ok I know nobody cares about this but me, but GOD I care:

1. I have just downloaded your app.
2. You want me to make an account. I don’t want to make an account!
3. When I enter my email, you inform me that I already have an account! This seems like a good thing, but I know it means only pain. 1/2

I don't think it's hyperbole to say that the uprising against Gov. Scott Walker & Act 10 in 2011 set the stage for Occupy Wall Street and the revival of anti-capitalist politics in the 2010s.

The fight against Act 10 was pivotal in reshaping our political culture — glad to see it finally taken out.

I don't think RFK is going to succeed in getting high-fructose corn syrup out of soda & other processed foods — let's be honest, he's probably not even gonna try — but I think it'd be very, very funny if he did.

Near me, Stop & Shop is the "mid-scale" grocery store, while Aldi is more affordable.

I routinely see Stop & Shop workers shopping at Aldi, still in uniform from their shift.

When workers can't afford to shop where they work, that's probably a sign things are very wrong.
Of all the coverage about grocery prices, very little to none include the voices of the workers at these stores

I spoke with grocery store workers about 'sticker shock' at the grocery store and their wages not keeping up with it
