I’ve bought a few of those live Pat Metheny albums. They’re all excellent. And compared to some unofficial CDs they have high production values. The booklets all have interviews and photos appropriate to the year of the gig, which makes a change for such releases. I must seek out that NY one.

This was fun. Beautiful voice, very engaging between songs. Started with Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head, followed by material from her forthcoming album.

Finished reading this just yesterday. It’s about Tour de France cyclist Robert Millar’s transition to being Pippa York. It’s such a powerful story, and I must admit a proper eye-opener for me. Definitely recommend it.
