And I do miss Camerino. They closed a year or two ago and their cakes were also incredible.

But if you’re in the Kilmainham area, they’ve moved to IMMA. You lucky things.

Sure fuck it, while I’m here and saying nice things about cafes on Capel Street, Brother Hubbard seems to retain staff for a long time and their love of Middle Eastern food makes everything a little bit differently delicious.

Their coffee is, and always has been, top notch.

Also, Mish Mash which is a few doors down, is run by an absolute star of a woman. The cakes are out of this world and she once let our group use their basement for meditation when we got locked out of Outhouse.

Unfortunately as coeliac I’m limited to coffee, but pre-diagnosis I used to host a meditation group in Outhouse and we regularly came here for lunch after.
