I think 6 games will last me the rest of my life now I'm past my teenage years

I saw someone yesterday tipping a shelf-display of Pot Noodles into their trolley at Tesco. Presumably a festive pack would be too much for the average Pot Noodle fan.

I've always had wide feet, so I just get size 11 or 12 and let that take care of things. Fuck knows what size I would actually be if I was properly measured for some shoes.

I'll always defend turkey, despite the right-wingers. Cooked and rested properly, it's a brilliant meat.

Leaner and more flavoursome than chicken, and it's never been dry when I've cooked it properly (correct time, correct resting time). If you vacuum seal and freeze the leftovers, then it stays moist and makes for a great curry meat.

I suppose the reusability blurs the lines a bit as to when it fell out of favour

Yeah, the picture-only-behind-the-flap type. It can't be from too long from before I was born, but I have no memory of them at all.

The year we got a chocolate one that went all the way through to New Year really spoiled me for future years though.

Cardboard advent calendars are so much better than chocolate advent calendars. I didn't even like chocolate advent calendars as a kid. Give me some fantastic artwork of a robin and I'll a small square of shite chocolate some other time, thanks.

You are. Money is set aside to produce promotional draws, which are sometimes "must be won". This is in addition to fifth rollover must be won draws.

E.g. the current must be won draw is on Saturday, whereas tonight's draw is a triple rollover.

A government evidence review suggests that addiction rates are under 1%, and at-risk gambling rates are under 4%. Even taking the 4% to all be addicts, that's still lower than the level of dependent drinkers in the UK.

Incredibly, the figures Farage has come up with are wrong.

43% of adults in the UK gambled (not just betting) in the previous 4 weeks according to 2021 data. Over a quarter of those exclusively gambled on the National Lottery.

The true figure for a 4 week period is likely closer to 10 million.

And so many of the comments are perfect demonstrations of a lack of understanding of consent - 'but they let people film before', tone policing, et cetera.

It just seems like massively entitled behaviour. I'm not massively familiar with the format, but surely it would have been easier to just include a short explanation that she couldn't film inside but still "hunt" and show what she'd bought. But "drama" gets views, I suppose...

The Chuckle Brothers panto posters were always great because they only ever used about three different headshots in all the time they did them

You can do this in OpenRCT2 by building a mini golf and deleting track pieces in the Tile Inspector.
